Next up are carbohydrates, which often get a bad rap. But they are your body’s primary source of energy! When you work out, your muscles use glycogen (stored carbs) for fuel. Opt for complex carbohydrates like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, as they provide sustained energy and essential nutrients. Eating the right amount of carbs can help you power through workouts and recover effectively afterward.
